On May 19, 2016, one of the brightest lights in my world went out.  My son, David Glasser, was a Phoenix Police officer who was killed in the line of duty on that day.

The worst happened.

And my Family in Blue showed up in a big way.  The love and support my family has received has been overwhelming.

The heartbreak and loss have also been overwhelming.

We are trusting in God as we figure out how to move forward with this big hole in our lives.  And we know that our Family in Blue is walking right beside us all the way.

God has a plan for all of this.  And part of the plan is for me to share some of my journey with you in this blog, My Family Bleeds Blue. I have also published a book on Amazon with much more of this story if you are interested, “Then I Looked Up: Losing a Child, Finding His Legacy of Love”
